Nightshift
NightShift is a band that has burst onto the Northamptonshire music scene with a bang in the last few years, injecting it with a fresh and exciting energy. Even though the band are Northampton based you may recognise one familiar face in Steve Bennett (singer) as he is a local boy, originally from Winslow.
What sets NightShift apart is their ability to play songs that other bands don’t cover form the 80s/90s/2000s . The band is committed to creating a party atmosphere wherever they go, and they achieve this by delivering a dynamic and exhilarating Set, NightShift’s repertoire covers it all.
The Recollections
The Recollections are a local 5 piece band who sing and play songs mainly from the 60’s and 70’s. Experts in vocal harmonies they will have you singing along to all the classics!!
Beatles , Rolling Stones, ELO, Kinks, T-Rex, Bee Gees, Beach Boys, Monkees, Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse, Queen, Abba and the list goes on…
Drift
Drift are a local band playing GranMarstonbury 2025 for the first time. Expect a fabulous set with tunes from REM, Crowded House, Guns N Roses and more
Drift are singer Lyla Jaina, guitar and backing vocals Finley Roberts, rhythm guitar Alex Hanke, bass Lucas Cao and drums …our very own North Marston boy Ben Brooke.
Adam O’Connell
I am a solo artist and have been singing and playing guitar for 8 years, and I recently taught myself piano in the last 6 months. I have performed in a great number of showcases and in small local events.
Within the last 2 years, my passion has expanded and I’ve established myself in a number of communities, playing in a wide range of events such as festivals, weddings, pubs and restaurants.
Doing music has opened my mind to a whole, possible career ahead of me, and I’m very grateful to have been given all this wonderful opportunity to perform for you at GranMarstonbury this year!
Broken Stairs
Three of the founder members of the band “Palmerston” – Alan Rondeau, Martin Hartup and Dave Norman– have recently formed an offshoot trio called Broken Stairs.
With their love of melodies and harmonies they sing about truck drivers, drinking and life & death amongst other things!!
The Secret Drummer.
The Secret Drummer is an energetic acoustic duo bringing a fresh twist to classic and modern hits from the last 40 years. Armed with two guitars, tight harmony vocals, and a trusty cajón, they blend rhythm and melody with charm and infectious energy.
The band is made up of Richard York and Alex Monro, 2 local lads who met 17 years ago when their sons were born, and realised they shared a passion for fooling around with guitars. We hope you enjoy! (And PS: A lesser-known fact; Rich’s Mum & Dad live in North Marston!)
Rhiannon & John
Rhiannon and John first shared the stage at the Pilgrim Open Mic back in 2018, where their musical chemistry quickly caught the attention of local audiences.
John, a founding member of the legendary White Swan band in Whitchurch, brings years of experience and soulful guitar work to the duo.
Rhiannon, now a student at Durham University, lights up the stage with her rich vocals, honed through her work with university theatre companies and open mic circuits in the North East.
Now reunited, Rhiannon and John are bringing their unique blend of acoustic magic and heartfelt storytelling to GranMarstonbury 2025 — a performance not to be missed!
The Tone Rangers
The Tone Rangers are a Mixed Barbershop Quartet who sing in unaccompanied 4-part harmony. They are great buddies who have been singing together for over 8 years for fun. They have appeared often at North Marston’s The Pilgrim Open Mic Nights. They have competed regularly in the Barbershop Quartet Section of the annual Milton Keynes Festival of Arts and have won the Gold Medal twice.
The 4 parts of our harmony are Lead, Tenor, Baritone and Bass; the Lead part usually has the melody, the tenor comes in above the Lead, the Bass sings well below the Lead and keeps the rhythm and the Baritone fits somewhere in the middle! Amanda usually sings Lead ’cos she’s bossy, Tina sings tenor ‘cos she has the highest squeaky voice, Glenn has the hard job singing Baritone and Pete sings Bass ‘cos his voice has just broken!
The Tone Rangers’ repertoire includes a mix of contemporary music and traditional barbershop songs; they rehearse weekly and learn every song in detail until they can sing it without music or instrumental backing to keep them in time and in tune.
It is our pleasure and a privilege to sing for you at GranMarstonbury and we look forward to it very much.
Queens Park Jammers
The Queens Park Jammers are a gigging group of members from the guitar club who meet every Wednesday evening at the Queens Park Arts Centre in Aylesbury.
The club has been running for over 15 years.
We play a mixture of pop songs mostly golden oldies.
We always welcome new members who can play basic chords so if you fancy joining us then please do come and speak to us for more info.
North & South
North & South are Elaine Conway on vocals and Malcolm Heeley on keyboards.
They’ve been performing together since 2010 in several Oving-based bands, including The Black Boys Rock ‘n’ Soul Band. Elaine moved to Newcastle a couple of years ago, hence the name – but the internet enables North & South to continue. Their stripped-down covers bring new twists to songs recent and not-so-recent.
Aylesbury Uke Jam
This is a loose group of ukulele players and singers who have been meeting fortnightly for nearly fifteen years. The music is a combination of pop standards and personal favourites.
There are a lot of members, but the gigging group is usually no more than ten, and consists of whoever is available on the date. We have a rhythm section with bass, Cajon and lead.
